Name: Jaime (Jame) Ruck
Location: White Rock, BC, Canada
Born: Kelowna, BC, Canada
Occupation: Public Relations Student and Tribe of Lambs Intern
Describe yourself in 3 words: Curious, passionate and particular
What do you love about your life?
Living so close to so many beautiful beaches, friends, family, reality TV, pizza, books, dogs, being tall (it has come in handy in SO many situations).
What Tribe of Lambs product do you rock?
The Sahaas ring. Everyone always asks where I got it because of the cute little lamb stamped on the front!
How is Tribe of Lambs impacting you?
Tribe of Lambs has impacted me in a couple ways: firstly, I have gained a greater understanding of the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS in India, which I previously knew nothing about. I love that Tribe of Lambs is becoming part of the solution by focusing their compassion projects on impacting the lives of HIV-positive kids. Second, I’m more aware of how my clothes and everyday products are made, and I make much more conscious shopping decisions.
Favourite life experience thus far?
Shania Twain’s farewell tour. I’ve loved Shania Twain since I was little, and it was amazing (and sad) to see her perform onstage for the last time.
What have you always wanted to do in your lifetime?
I’m dying to visit the Cinque Terre in Italy. It seems like the most beautiful and quintessentially Italian place to go, and I could eat all the pizza I want there!
