Tribe of Lambs
Funding homes for children living with HIV in India,
to give them the brightest start in life we can.
In a nutshell.

The problem.
Stigma
Government orphanages in India do not accept HIV positive children. This forces displaced children to turn to child labour, begging and prostitution to survive.
Awareness
Due to a lack of knowledge about the virus, many HIV positive parents are untested, undiagnosed and therefore unmedicated. Which means many of these children are orphaned when their parents die of AIDS or abandoned because their parents are too sick to care for them.
Epidemic
India has the third largest HIV epidemic in the world – where approximately 2.1 million people are living with the virus, and about 170,000 of those people are children under the age of 15.

OUR SOLUTION
1. Home
We help fund homes that provide safe places for learning, growth & development of HIV positive children.
2. Education
We fund tuition, school supplies and uniforms for HIV positive children.
3. Health
We work with doctors that specialize in HIV within the vicinity of our partner homes, to ensure the children have access to regular, premium healthcare.
4. Empower
We spend time with all the children we support to help them feel empowered, to make them feel loved and to make sure they have everything they need to thrive in life.
5. Awareness
We draw global attention to the stigma and discrimination faced by men, women and children living with HIV in India.
6. Longevity
We stick around! Once we take a project on it’s ours forever – we ensure our beneficiaries are supported, our work previous work is still standing it’s ground and our ongoing work is of value.
